Garlic Lemon Butter Chicken with White Wine Sauce | What's For Dinner. I used 6 large chicken breast ( cubed )
I seasoned them with salt ( coarse) and pepper (coarse)
garlic powder, parsley and Italian seasoning.
I added all the chicken to a zip lock bag then added flour to cover and coat the chicken . After making sure everything was evenly coated and mixed together I added the chicken to a preheated pan on medium high heat with 1/4 cup to 1/2 a cup of EVOO . I pan fried it just to get both sides of the chicken nice and golden brown.
( *note - you don't have to cube the chicken I just do it because it's easier to serve my kids this way, if it's for adults use thin sliced chicken breast) after my chicken is nice and brown on both sides I remove them from the pan ( I did this in 2 batches because I had a lot of chicken) I added a little more oil to the pan to saute my onions , garlic, and mushrooms . Then I added 4 table spoons of butter , my golden brown chicken , 1 cup of wine, 1 and 1/2 cup of milk , 1 chicken bouillon .. I feel like I'm forgetting something.. OH YEA lemon ! 2 lemons , squeeze that lemon juice in there ... yea I know this is a savory dish.. GIRL its ok we will do some squats tomorrow. So then I gave it a good stir brought it to a mid boil then simmer on low for 15-20 minutes, I didn't have to add any extra flour because my sauce came out perfect , I like a loose creamy sauce and the flour that fell from the chicken thickened it up nicely . Garnish with parsley for color this can be a pretty monochromatic dish so the parsley adds nice color. I served it with some mashed potatoes thats where I put the rest of the butter LOL and a nice side salad. This is a very flavorful dish, my kids LOVED it. It heats up well just add a little milk to thin out the sauce if it gets too thick and enjoy. Add as much lemon or as less as you like. This is a meal you taste while cooking it so don't be afraid to make it your own. Ok see you later.
